Cookbook Review: The Whole30 Fast & Easy Cookbook Revised Edition

Thank you NetGalley and William Morrow for the advance review copy of The Whole30 Fast & Easy Cookbook (Revised); it is greatly appreciated.

This book is full of recipes that I would make for my family and also feel good about serving to guests . They’re not elaborate, show-stopping recipes, but feel-good, filling dishes that are good for you. As a vegetarian whose main source of protein is beans and legumes, the Whole30 lifestyle isn’t one I can follow easily, but I appreciate the health benefits that it offers. There are a handful of recipes in here I could eat as-is; however there are plenty I can adapt to a vegetarian- or vegan-appropriate dish without too much difficulty. Would it detract from the Whole30 model? Yes. Would it still be healthy, and probably as delicious? Also yes.
The recipes are simple and straightforward, perfect for a weeknight dinner. I will be making some of these meals for my family, because I love cooking them good (and good-for-you!) food.
